Gladys Opal Hill, 97, of Modesto, died Friday, March 5, 1999, at Arbor Valley Convalescent Hospital. Mrs. Hill was a native of Nardin, Oklahoma. She lived in Modesto 13 years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Bill Hill of Apple Valley; George Hill of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Jane Smithers of Harris, Oklahoma, Paul Hill of Oklahoma City, Phil Hill of Bethel Island, and Martha Melvin of Modesto; sister, Lanore Bullard of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and 26 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and seven great-great-great-grandchildren.
No local services were held. Burial services were held at Sunnylane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma. |
